Download the Lesson 1 Worksheet and complete these steps:

1. List every way you currently hear from families, formal and informal. For each, note which families you tend to hear from and which you rarely hear from.
2. Write one question about your program that you cannot answer today. For example: “Why did the families who left this year leave?” or “Do families who pick up late have a different experience than families who pick up early?”
3. Write one sentence describing what you want a family survey to help you decide.
