Communicating about the survey
Families are more likely to respond when they know why you are asking and what happened with last time’s feedback. A simple schedule:
| When | What to send |
|---|---|
| One week before | A short announcement: why you’re surveying, how long it takes, whether it is anonymous, and one change made from the last survey. |
| Opening day | The survey link, a QR code, and where to find paper copies. |
| Midpoint | A reminder with the closing date. |
| Two days before closing | A final reminder. |
| After closing | A thank-you, with the date families can expect results. |
Use more than one channel: your family app or email, a printed flyer at the sign-in area, and a QR code posted near the door. Translate each message into the languages your families use.
