Choosing when

  • Pick the same months each year so results are comparable, such as April and October.
  • Avoid the first weeks of the program year, when families are still settling in.
  • Avoid holiday periods and weeks with closures, when families are busy or away.
  • Avoid the weeks right after a tuition increase, policy change, or major incident. Results will reflect reaction to that event more than families’ overall experience.
