Ask only what you can act on

Before adding a question, ask: “If this result came back low, would I know what to change?” “How do you feel about the center?” gives no direction. “Drop-off and pickup work well for my family” points to a process the program controls. One overall question, such as whether a family would recommend the center, is useful as a summary, as long as specific questions sit alongside it.
