Co-Creating the Action Plan
Close by co-developing two to three targeted, achievable goals for the next cycle, tied to the Maryland Core Knowledge Areas and connected to the employee’s broader career trajectory — credential advancement, CDA completion, a step toward lead teaching. Specify exactly what support the center will provide: tools, peer mentoring, workshops, planning time. And build in accountability — a defined timeline for monthly check-ins and quarterly milestones — then document and sign the evaluation together, with the employee leaving with their own copy.
