About Us:
The Science Nerds is a women-owned educational science company founded by two former science teachers with a passion for making science fun, engaging, and accessible to young learners.
Based in Berlin, Maryland, The Science Nerds partners with schools, Judy Centers, Head Start programs, early childhood centers, and community organizations to bring hands-on science experiences to children, families, and educators.
Our offerings include interactive family engagement events, classroom science experiences, professional development for educators, and thoughtfully designed, ready-to-use science kits. Each kit includes pre-measured materials, easy-to-follow directions, and exciting experiments that encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and exploration.
From bubbling eruptions and colorful chemical reactions to sensory exploration and engineering challenges, we believe children learn best when they are actively discovering the world around them.
Currently serving educational partners throughout Maryland and beyond, our mission is simple: make science exciting, approachable, and unforgettable for every young scientist!
Thank you again for including The Science Nerds!
